We’ve got two events to kick off the New Year in a healthy way, two comedy shows to get you laughing, and two more great events happening in the Capital Region this weekend.
Fun at the Library

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library is hosting a First Friday Friends for children ages 12 to 36 months. Kids and their parents are invited to the library to play and get to know one another while exploring age-appropriate toys, books, and puzzles. This event is free with no registration required.

Hannaford Dietitian Marissa Prignon will be stopping by the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library to provide tips on keeping your bones strong and healthy. This event is also free with no registration required.
Get Healthy in the New Year

Ready to try something new while getting in shape for 2017? Try Tai Chi Yoga, a 75 minute class for just $25! Instructor Anthony Grimaldi will guide you through three energy exercises intended to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing. This event is happening on Van Dam Street in Saratoga.
Meditation Workshop: New Year, New You
Saturday, January 7
Start the New Year off right with learning how to develop piece of mind with a meditation workshop. This is a half day workshop with guided meditations and practical advice, along with a chance to engage in discussions with the workshop leader, Evelyn Williams. This class is happening at the Saratoga Spa State Park and costs $20.
Laugh the Night Away
Saturday, January 7
The Saratoga Winery & Tasting Room is hosting a Comedy Night! Come and check out comedians Marty Caproni, Kristine Blinn, Jeremy Goff, and Doreen Watson. Bobby Brown III is hosting. Tickets are $20 for the show, or $40 for a dinner and the show, and must be purchased in advance.
