WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR OUR RAIN DATE! It’s gonna be an April Market in MAY - we cannot wait to join together in queer & gender expansive JOY on Sunday, May 4th from 11AM - 4PM! 🌈

We will have a free kids area sponsored by @refugetroy , a community area, 100+ vendors, and food + drinks!

Our new ✨Wellness Section✨, curated by @womb2wombadornments , features local wellness centers, somatic healers, herbalists, bodyworkers, and other wellness practitioners in the 518. This section of the market was added in response to the increasing pressure and violence towards queer & gender-expansive individuals in our nation and our need to be able to ground, recenter, and care for ourselves and each other. Thank you to the healers who are sharing their gifts with us this market 🫂

🌱Land/People Acknowledgement✊ A Big Gay Market welcomes and challenges our community to acknowledge and sit with the reality that the land we celebrate on also resides on the sacred homeland of the Haudenosaunee, Schaghticoke, and Mohican people. We do not turn away from the fact that our ability to gather here is a direct result of colonialism which displaced those who are the true stewards of this land. One of the core pillars of A Big Gay Market is spirit - and in that spirit - we will embody humility and openness. We pledge to do the hard work of reflection and truth-telling so that we can move toward transformative healing within this sacred space.
