Are you, your family and friends feeling the effects of Cabin Fever? If so, head to Clifton Park on Saturday, 2/6 for 2021 WinterFest. It’s a fun way to enjoy the great outdoors and safely visit with friends old and new. Lot of events – all free- are happening throughout the Town! There are craft projects for the kids, snow tubing, bonfires, scavenger hunts, town park nature trail walks, ice fishing demonstrations, Kids Safari Station and more! Don’t miss the all new Winter ParkaPalooza! Highlights include the Winter Outhouse race, presented by Shenendahowa Rotary Club, a Saratoga County Chamber member. The race starts at 1pm at Clifton Common. Lots of laughs are guaranteed as spectators cheer on the various home made outhouses that are vying for the championship! We hear the entry by Twin Bridges Rotary Club– another Saratoga County Chamber member- is a stand out! Rumor has it Saratoga County Chamber President Todd Shimkus will be an Outhouse Race judge! If you work up an appetite enjoying all the day’s activities- delicious offerings by many businesses and vendors will be available at several sites. How does chili, chowder, S’mores, apple pie, hot cider and donuts sound? With the weather looking great, the Clifton Park WinterFest will be the weekend highlight in Southern Saratoga!
