During Small Business Saturday in Schenectady, the Upper Union Street Tree Lighting will be held outside of Trustco Bank. Enjoy the ceremony, photos with Santa, a performance from the choir from Brown School, and cocoa & cookies.
Opening Day at the 23rd Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park will be this Friday, November 29. After Friday, the Lights will remain open until January 3, 2020, on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00pm-10:00pm, and Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Kick off your holiday season with a drive through Albany’s Washington Park.

Christmas Land LLC in Altamont will begin their 2019 season starting this weekend! Join them for a wide range of family-friendly holiday activities and entertainment, such as pictures with Santa and his elves, ornament decorating, horse drawn carriage and sleigh rides, Christmas music, and more.
The 44th Saratoga Holiday Craft Marketplace | Saturday, November 30
The annual Saratoga Holiday Craft Marketplace at the Saratoga Springs City Center is a shopper’s destination. Hosted on Small Business Saturday, this massive marketplace will house 140 individual artisans displaying and selling their wares and artworks. Browse everything from home and holiday decor to photography, food delicacies, fashion wear, woodworking, recycled products, fiber art, and other goods.
Find unique home and garden products at Brookside Nursery’s 3rd Annual Shop Small Holiday Artisan Fair. Admission is free, and the event will run from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Small Business Saturday Craft & Vendor Fair at Mechanicville Library | Saturday, November 30
Christmas wreaths, crafts, handmade jewelry, custom art, fine art, ceramics, and other gift ideas will be available for purchase at the Small Business Saturday Craft & Vendor Fair at Mechanicville Library. The fair will be open for shoppers from 11:00am-3:00pm, and admission is free.
Great Train Extravaganza 2019 | Sunday, December 1
Take a trip to the Empire State Plaza Convention Center on Sunday for the Great Train Extravaganza 2019. The model train show will feature dozens of vendors offering new and used trains, parts, memorabilia, and more for sale. There will also be exhibitors and several operating model railroads. Admission is just $7 for adults and free for kids under 12.
