Friday, June 14
Plan a trip to the Whipple City Festival in Greenwich this weekend for live music, parades, horse-drawn wagon rides, an artisan market, and much more throughout the community. Admission is free, and the two-day festival is sponsored by the Greater Greenwich Chamber of Commerce.
Join the Clifton Park Elks for their 47th Annual Flag Celebration on Friday at 6:30pm. This evening event will honor our nation’s colors and celebrate the history of the American flag. There will be a keynote speaker as well as patriotic songs from the Clifton Park Chorus.
Saturday, June 15
Get ready for a day of bubble-filled fun at miSci’s Fantastic Bubble Festival on Saturday from 11:00am-4:00pm. Highlights will include tons of awesome, hands-on bubble-themed science activities, a bubble chamber for selfies, a bubble-themed planetarium show, and more. Everyone who pays museum admission can attend the festivities.
From 10:00am-3:00pm, the Upper Union Street BID in Schenectady will host their 14th Annual Strawberry Festival & Art Show. Browse a variety of local vendors offering gourmet food and goods, enjoy live music, and check out some of the arts, crafts, and children’s activities while you’re there.
Support the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region by attending the 4th Annual Duck Derby for Autism at the Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady. Adopt a duck for a chance to win prizes in the derby. There will also be live music, games, food, and sensory-friendly activities for the family.
The 16th Annual Troy River Fest will showcase locally crafted handmade goods and local cuisine in an open-air bazaar in downtown Troy. Stop by and shop, dine, and explore everything this popular festival has to offer.

What better way to spend Father’s Day than at a baseball game? This Sunday, the Tri-City ValleyCats face off against the Staten Island Yankees at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy. Opening Night will feature a special magnet giveaway and post-game fireworks.
Looking for something to do with your dad on Father’s Day? Dad Fest is the answer! Hosted in Albany’s Washington Park, Dad Fest is a free Father’s Day celebration featuring live music, a car show, family-friendly activities, and more. The event will run from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
