There are so many great choices of events to check out this weekend! Three major summer events are taking place, including the Troy Pig Out. You can also look forward to a slew of free summer concert performances happening, and a fun kids movie will be shown at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library.

Pig out on exceptional barbecue fare at the Troy Pig Out! Barbecue masters will be duking it out for the top prize in a variety of categories, there will be live music performances all day, and there will also be a hot dog eating contest and a cornhole tournament.

The family-friendly summer block party, Schenectady County SummerNight, is happening on Friday. There will be live music performances (including the Spin Doctors!), games, food, and kid-friendly activities.
Saturday, July 14
Bring the kids to the Empire State Plaza on Saturday for tons of fun with Thomas & Friends and Robin and Starfire of Teen Titans. Kids can partake in various activities, singalongs, meet and greets, and storytimes.
