The Capital Pride Parade & Festival is happening in Albany this weekend, hosted by the Pride Center of the Capital Region. The festival is happening in Washington Park, with the parade starting from the park as well. Check out awesome vendors, all types of food and drinks, a family-fun zone, and more as you celebrate pride.
Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11
The 23rd annual St. Basil Greek Festival is going on all weekend in Troy. See folklore dances from Greece, check out a Greek Bazaar, and of course enjoy Greek foods and treats like souvlaki, moussaka, lamb, baklava, and much more.
Immerse Yourself in Art
Saturday, June 10
Over 70 vendors will be in attendance at this year’s Art on Lark in Albany, which has grown into the second largest street festival in all of Upstate New York thanks to the Lark Street BID. You’ll find amazing paintings, photography, ceramics, and much more from local art vendors. There will also be live music, food, and all that Lark Street has to offer.

Sunday, June 11
Another huge art event is happening this weekend – the Beekman Street Art Fair in Saratoga, which will have over 50 art vendors. Also in attendance will be street performers, live music, food trucks, and more. A Children’s Art Park will be set up for kids to construct their own art creations.
A Captivating Carnival
Gillette Carnival for Nick’s Fight to be Healed
through Sunday, June 11
The Gillette Carnival will be at the Halfmoon Town Park from now through the weekend! Both kids and adults can have fun enjoying the rides, games, and carnival food. Ride tickets are $1 each, 22 for $20 and 55 for $50. A portion of ticket sales goes towards Nick’s Fight to be Healed, an organization that supports pediatric and young adult cancer patients.

Daffodil Dash 5K and Kids Fun Run
Saturday, June 10
Head to the Halfmoon Town Park for the Daffodil Dash 5K and Kids Fun Run, a fundraiser for programs serving those affected by disabilities. There will be face painting for kids and raffles going on throughout the day. The cost is $25 for runners, joggers, and walkers.

Saturday, June 10
Step back to the 20s with the Roaring 20s Lawn Party at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library. Dance lessons will be going on with local swing dancing master Jason Fenton, followed by a concert and dancing with the Charles Cornell Quartet.

Attention Sublime fans – the Rhode-Island based Sublime tribute band Badfish is performing at Upstate Concert Hall. The band is named after Sublime’s hit single from their 1992 album 40oz. to Freedom.

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh will be the keynote speaker at the Clifton Park Elks 45th annual Flag Day Celebration in Ballston Lake. Other public officials will join the Elks to recognize and celebrate Flag Day, and Americanism essay contest winners and Elks scholarship recipients will be recognized.
