Freedom Park Summer Concert Series: Bluz House Rockers & Fireworks
Friday, June 30
You can catch a water ski show, a great live band, and fireworks to start off your Fourth of July weekend right. The water ski show is happening at Jumpin’ Jacks at 7pm, Bluz House Rockers are performing for free at 8pm as part of the ongoing summer concert series in Freedom Park (right next door to Jumpin’ Jacks), and the night will be rounded out with some stunning fireworks.

Friday, June 30
The Red, White and Brew Festival at Proctors in Schenectady is not to be missed! Over 30 craft breweries will be in attendance with over 60 different kinds of beers and ciders. In addition, you’ll be able to check out food vendors, live music from Kick, and there will be cool games like Corn Hole and Kan Jam. Tickets are $30, or $15 for designated drivers.

There’s no shortage of free live music concerts during the summer in the Capital Region and one of them happens right in Clifton Park at Clifton Common. This weekend you can see The Accents, one of the hottest party bands in the area.

Like metal music? You might want to check out Thou at Upstate Concert Hall, whose music is described as “sludge metal” or “experimental doom.” Tickets are just $12 in advance, or $15 at the door.
