Hattie’s 16th Annual Mardi Gras Benefit

Hattie’s 16th annual Mardi Gras Benefit event is set to take place this Saturday at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs. The event will feature a cash bar, silent auction, and more! This year’s proceeds will go toward supporting Caffe Lena.
Annual Albany Chefs’ Food & Wine Festival

In benefit of the arts community in Albany, the annual Albany Chefs’ Food & Wine Festival will be held from Thursday through Saturday this weekend! The festival will feature the Battle of the Bartenders, a Grand Tasting & Seminars, and more.
Fun Things To Do For Kids/Families

Gore Mountain’s MLK Weekend Holiday Camp is the perfect opportunity for kids ages 4-12 to learn about skiing/riding while meeting new friends! The camp is open to all abilities, and it will run for two days. The cost to attend is $230 per kid, or $285 with rentals included.

Bring the family over to the Empire State Plaza Ice Rink for free ice skating throughout the winter season! Rentals are available whenever the ice rink is open.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend Celebrations
Friday, January 13
Check out the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs for the Dr. King Challenge this Friday at 6:00pm. This community event will feature performances by Heavenly Echoes, Soul Rebel Performance Troupe, and others. Admission is a $10 donation.
Roger Tincknell Family Concert in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Visit the Saratoga Springs Public Library for a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2017 Day of Service Community Event this Monday from 9:00am-12:30pm. There will be volunteer opportunities and projects to take part in, such as knitting and crocheting scarves for the homeless.
