Courtyard Inn Breaks Ground
Construction has recently started on the latest hotel to open in Clifton Park! A Courtyard Inn by Marriott with about 130 rooms is being built near Exit 9 by BBL Construction Services LLC. The four story hotel will be located across the street from the Hampton Inn & Suites.
iLoveKickboxing Franchise Opens
Clifton Park recently welcomed a new business, iLoveKickboxing. The franchise based out of Merrick, New York, provides classes for all ages and fitness levels. Owners Teresa and Pete Peck are martial artists who have been in the industry for nearly 30 years. Pete told the Saratoga Business Journal, “There are no mirrors. It’s bright, clean, safe and friendly. And more importantly, it’s fun.” There are currently packages available ranging from a few classes a month to a full year of unlimited classes.
New Boutique
25 Silver Boutique opened its eighth location in the upstate New York area in the Clifton Park Center Mall. The boutique offers a variety of high-end jewelry, gifts, handbags and clothes. According to PRWeb, owner and operator Brendan Wrenn brought the store to the Clifton Park area because he sees it as a great place to do business.
Renovations at nfrastructure
Nfrastructure started $4 million renovations to its Clifton Park office after abandoning plans to build a new headquarters. The original plan involved designing and building a new 70,000 square-foot building that would house warehouse, manufacturing and office space. Nfrastructure designs, builds and operates computer networks for business related to the Internet of Everything. Their customers include GlobalFoundries, IBM and Google.
