Concert of Classical Music - SUNY Schenectady School of Music

Concert of classical music by talented students from the SUNY Schenectady School of Music. (Pianists and bass-baritone)

The concert is presented by Young Musicians Forum and is a collaboration with the SUNY Schenectady Music Dept.  Shannon Civic, Iida Nyman, Niahm Schmid & Rebecca Schmid, pianists, and Robert Frazier, bass-baritone.

They will present works by Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, and more. Of special interest is Rachmaninoff's Romance and Waltz foir sic hands! (Thee people at one piano.)

Young Musicians Forum has a twenty-year tradition of presenting concerts by exceptional musicians preparing for careers in classical music.  These concerts have always been free to the community.

The concerts have always been at the Niskayuna Public Library; this is the first one to be at the Schenectady Public Library.

This will be the first concert at the Schenectady LIbrary
