The Memorial Concert Band of Colonie will present its first ever POPS concert. Music Director and Principal Conductor Doug Dougherty returns to the podium to lead the band in the final concert of the 2011 - 2012 season. The repertoire will be an exciting mix of marches, latin selections, show tunes, and big band music.

Capital Pride Singers is a group of 40 women and men who celebrate diversity in their music and is the only LGBT chorus in upstate New York. They perform in many venues with a goal of celebrating the various gifts of people in their music. They were founded in 1996 and are a not-for-profit organization.
