Less than a year ago the book did not even exist and recently has risen as high as number 275,723 out of the several million books sold on Amazon. While, this placement may not sound amazing, the reality is that for a privately published book to reach this ranking in only a few months is truly amazing.

The Bank has purchased a 3,750-square-foot building at 386 Clifton Park Center Road, conveniently located off of Exit 9 of the Northway, just behind Clifton Park Center Mall. The full-service banking location will feature two drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.

TOWN OF CLIFTON PARK ACQUIRES 39‐ACRE CLIFTON KNOLLS EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE
The Clifton Park Town Board voted unanimously Tuesday to acquire the Clifton Knolls Executive Golf Course in the Stony Creek watershed. The purchase price of $1,075,000 will be paid for from surplus funds.
The purchase of the Clifton Knolls Golf Course permanently protects 39 acres of parkland in the heart of the Clifton Parks oldest neighborhood,Town Supervisor Phil Barrett said. "As we have with the Clifton Park Ice Arena, the town will leverage our resources to turn a profit at the golf course and offer added services to residents year‐round."

Clifton Park Late Summer Pool Membership Rate Reduction

Clifton Park, NY - The Town of Clifton Park Office of Parks, Recreation and Community Affairs has announced that beginning Friday, July 30, membership fees to all three town pools will be half price. This change is typically made on August 1, but since that date falls on a weekend, Town Supervisor Phil Barrett has opened up half-price memberships on the Friday prior to August 1.
For the last month of the season, pool membership will be $60 for an individual, $95 for a couple and $127.50 for a family. Children ages 3 and under are free when a parent is a member.
The pools are located on Burning Bush Blvd. in the Country Knolls development, Locust Lane and Barney Road, both in the Clifton Knolls development.

Ballston Spa, NY - The Saratoga County Fair announces today that six $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to current New York State high school seniors and also students enrolled in college who are pursuing a degree in a field related to agriculture, fair management or the outdoor amusement business.
The New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and the New York State Showpeople’s Association sponsor the scholarships.
The qualifying students must be active at the Saratoga County Fair. All applicants from Saratoga County must submit their applications through Saratoga County Fair no later than Friday, April 9, 2010.

CLIFTON PARK, NY—Capital Region residents wanting to help the victims of the earthquake that devastated Haiti will have an opportunity to attend a benefit concert for “To Love A Child” Haiti Mission at Northern Lights, Route 146 in Clifton Park on Saturday, January 30th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The January 12th earthquake devastated Haiti killing perhaps hundreds of thousands of people and leaving thousands of children as orphans.
Members of the Capital Region-based organization “To Love a Child” have been to Haiti bringing various supplies including first aid kits, newborn and birthing kits, clean drinking water, clothes, shoes and other essentials to the children from the Orphanage of Good Will in Port-au-Prince and a school in the nearby town of Hantlamouhaie.
While the orphanage in Port-au-Prince was destroyed by the earthquake all 29 children survived and are now living under a tarp near the street.

Ladies Night Out will be held at the beautifully restored Historic Grooms Tavern located on the corners of Grooms and Sugarhill Roads in Clifton Park on November 18, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m.
We are looking for individuals who would normally hold house parties to demonstrate and showcase their products. This will be a wonderful opportunity for local residents to start their holiday shopping!
Space is limited. As an historic building, Grooms Tavern has several small rooms which will be utilized in this event. Set up space will be limited, ranging from 5’x10’ to 7’x12’. One table with linens and two chairs will be provided for each vendor.
